Teach me how to pray

I am not regular at church going, but when I do, people have to know. so the other day I went to church. don't ask me what was the reading or the middle song as many keep asking me to proof I went to church. actually I forget the readings as faster as they are read so that doesn't mean I never went to church.

Today I arrived earlier and took my position (usually three rows from the front) I wanted to get it clear; but incidentally I found myself between babies. I mean on my left was a mother with a baby, also on my right, front and behind me!
Everything was fine the first few minutes until the one on my left opened juice for her baby then time bomb went off! baby on my right saw this, and started crying, then the others joined in until all I could get from the pulpit was priest waving hands and in no time my brain was on
impromptu visit to old trafford.

Church was almost ending and all I had captured is "we are salt " courtesy of babies, I never got the meaning or the context so I licked my arm ,and it sure tasted salt so I kept wondering why God put salt on us or are we food for some other form of life?

The other thing I captured was " we are all made in God image". nigger .I wonder if God want us to be like him or are we like him? even osama?, hitler? bivyanga? surely some face don't look like God!

Then I realized I was not the only lost alone. An old macho was advising a woman not to bring kids to church again ; yet on the other verse, Jesus says let the children come to me because the kingdom belongs to them.
What hit my mind more is that part that we are salt, and life is a journey!. a few are living, while the rest of us are adding flavor to their live. A few are traveling, the rest of us are escorts assisting them on their journey through life. Take your boss for instance. He is alive, you are adding flavor to his life by working like a donkey and praising him!. you are escorting him through his journey (life) by covering his mistakes and carrying his luggage (taking the blame ) yet he earns more salary for relaxing in office for 30 days!
